According to our source at Gamestop, EA has removed the PlayStation 3 version of Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 from their upcoming release list.
Earlier this week, we reported that the PS3 version of the title may be in trouble, with EA's Red Alert 3 Community Manager stating, “I can't speak of the PS3 version right now."

We are in the process of contacting EA to find out the reason behind the cancellation.
UPDATE:
PSU.com has received word from EA on Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3, following similar suit to what had been said earlier on Strategy Informer.
"The PS3 is a powerful platform that would be a great fit for an RTS game in the future," said EA's Tammy Schachter.
"Development of Red Alert 3 for PS3 has been put on hold. EALA is focusing resources on development for PC and Xbox 360 which will ship simultaneously this fall."

its game that PS3 fans should't care that much. If you play C&C on the 360 man its so bad its hard to control. You rather have a mouse to move your squad

haha put on hold means it will never come out does anybodt remember when they said c&c tiberium wars was coming out for the ps3 n 360 but then they delayed the ps3 version n nothing has ever happened,im 1 of the few people that actually prefers the pad over keyboard n mouse and since it was the ps1 that actually made c&c games popular on consoles its disgusting there shafting the ps3 now what happened to what they said about the ps3 being the lead development platform,im just gonna get a high end pc for gaming when they start using bluray this generation of consoles has been a let down,so much potential but every thing is being dragged down by the 360 n its limitations, devs just dump the 360 forget about install base u will still make a profit on the ps3

The PS3, as multiple games have shown this far, can use the mouse if they so choose, so there is no reason why you would have to use the controler. You would be able to use the mouse on the PS3 making your argument invalid. It doesnt take much to give a game mouse support on the PS3, that already has mouse support on the PC. Not to mention that there are PS3 controlers that use a mouse that simulates the analog stick, so you can use a mouse even on games not developed with mouse support. -

how bout this for EA, they stick to EAsports only. thats all they seem to be able to halfway put together right(even if it is the same game every year). the only quality games worth something they really make is the Madden games and the verdict's still out on whether this years ps3 madden will be good. but aye are y'all really surprised? its EA

Looks like it's time to dust of the old 360 and start gaming again. At least Microsoft's system gets games, and not crappy ports. I use to love the PS3, but at this point I can care less if it goes down if flames, because the people behind the wheel at Sony have no idea what they're doing. I am also saying this not just because of this title, but Sony themselves just canned two first party exclusives as well. Oh well, at least it plays blu-rays, and MGS4 comes out next week(last game I'm buying for this system). I guess at the end of the day I can't really blame EA for this, because it's not like they're the only ones not coding well on the PS3. Other dev's just release a crappy product, but it looks like Sony and EA think it might better just to can a project than release a crappy one. Probably to avoid making the system looks worse than it already does.

Disappointing. I was looking foward to a RTS game like this for the PS3. I sold my xbox360(never really played it anymore) and don't hardly buy pc games anymore. I am getting tired of the constant upgrade crap with the PC platform for the past 15 years. I used to be PC platform only guy but recently the PS3 has drawn me in.

What else is new ea likes xbox and pc because it cost more money for them to prouce games in bluray. well guese what EA thats why u r such a crappy company take over smaller companys that can produce bluray and then stop them because u want to save a buck.
